This
is one of the Many Gowns that Mary Todd had made for her in the four years the
Lincoln's were in the Executive Mansion. Many trips were made to purchase
material, shoes, and other items while she was there. She ran up quite large
bills for cloths that gave her many problems after the assassination. She didn't
know if she had enough money to pay for the many things.
Because of the way this
picture was taken. It will print about 7 3/4 inches by 11 inches. It is a very
good quality picture with very few imperfection in the print.
